I was tasked with creating some print & videoboard graphics for a private event featuring The Rolling Stones. What a thrill it was to work with such an iconic rock ‘n roll logo and brand! This was the band’s first performance after the passing of Charlie Watts, and I knew they were sensitive to that, so I kept band imagery out of it. For print banners, each band member was represented with simple iconography – the drum the only one in all black signifying The Stones still roll on even while they mourn. Everything else I tried to keep album based and in the classic colors of their brand.
